If you’ve stumbled upon my little corner of the internet - HI! WELCOME! SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE! Okay enough of that, I’m not actually that loud and bold in person, just wanted to get your attention. My name is Laura - I’m a wife, mom, believer in Jesus, avid runner, sole member of my cats’ fan club (okay one of them is loved by others, the other is a straight up grinch) and enthusiastic consumer of vanilla lattes. I’m a wedding and family photographer (duh), serving friends in both local and destinations worldwide. When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me training for my next half marathon, sipping a hot vanilla latte, or reading “Brown Bear” to my kid for the upteenth time.
I would love to become your new bestie and take all your photos for the rest of your life. Seriously. I want to meet you at your proposal or engagement photos, document your cutie wedding day, and then hear from you again and again and again to capture all your sweet moments. I’m a wife and mom, so I know how fleeting life can be. I remember before I got married, all the church ladies at our wedding showers would say “life goes by fast, enjoy every moment” and wow were they ever right. It seems that life passes by in the blink of an eye and that’s where I come in.
I’ve fostered a love for photography since I was young, always trying to nab my parents’ point-and-shoot film camera (wow I sound old) to make “artwork” of my own. They instilled in me a love for documenting and passing down tangible memories, which I’m now thankful for, as I look back fondly on my own childhood in the form of thousands of printed photos. There’s something special about freezing a moment in time - your first kiss as a married couple, your new baby clinging to you, your toddler picking a flower, or finally gathering your extended family for a quick little reunion.
My husband and I are college sweethearts - fun fact: we only met because I dated his roommate (there was no overlap OKAY). We’ve been married since June 2018, and now have the most energetic, hilarious, gentle and adorable kiddo. After I planned my own wedding in 2018, I realized the importance of preserving those memories, wedding and otherwise. I also realized that quality photography is such a luxury, and ever since, I have never skimped on hiring only the best in the industry to capture my own wedding and family photos.
